Capture Your Moment- Walt Disney World
On our recent trip to Disney World, we tried something BRAND NEW (to us anyways 😉 ). We were traveling with my parents and decided to schedule a “Capture Your Moment” Photo session at Hollywood Studios. I’ll share more pictures and opinions below but first, what is “Capture Your Moment”?
"Capture Your Moment"- The Basics
"Capture Your Moment" is a personalized photo experience offered at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts. It's an opportunity for guests to have a professional photographer capture their magical moments in the parks. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, enjoying a family vacation, or simply want to document your Disney adventure, "Capture Your Moment" provides the perfect backdrop.
How Does it Work?
Booking a "Capture Your Moment" session is super easy. Guests can reserve a session in advance through the Disney PhotoPass Service website or by calling Disney directly. These can also be booked same day if there’s availability but I always recommend making a reservation. Sessions are available in various lengths, typically starting at 20 minutes, allowing guests to choose the duration that best suits their needs. For a 20 minute session you can expect 40-60 photos.
Once booked, guests meet their photographer at a designated location within the park. From there, the magic unfolds as the photographer guides guests through iconic spots, hidden gems, and picture-perfect settings, capturing candid moments and posed portraits along the way.
For our "Capture Your Moment” session, we chose Hollywood Studios. We met with our photographer, Tyler, and he reviewed options and even created a personalized sign for our group.

For our sesssion, we were allowed on the balcony at the Tower of Terror, which just happens to be one of my favorite rides!
Instant Gratification: Forget about waiting in long lines or scrolling through endless galleries. With "Capture Your Moment," your photos are available for viewing and purchase shortly after your session, allowing you to relive the magic instantly.
Final Thoughts
The session was $99 and worth every penny. Our photographer had suggestions for poses and offered tons of locations down Sunset Blvd. After our session, he said it could take a few hours for all of the photos to load to the My Disney Experience App but we had all of ours loaded in under 30 minutes. If you have Memory Maker during your trip (which I always recommend), there is no extra cost to download your photos. They are there for you to enjoy, share, and print.
